We went to the Veldskoen drive-in the other night. I love, love, love going to the drive-in. Its great for so many reasons: its cheap (R60) per car, its a double bill (two movies), you can sit outside on a mattress or camping chair and watch a movie under the stars, you can pack a picnic and booze...its just so fab!
We watched "Easy A" and "The Green Hornet" -really fun and had a picnic. My friend Alex who is a chef made the most yummy cookies and fruit crumble thing.
Veldskoen is the last drive-in in Joburg which is such a pity. So please go, go, go support it!
